An Interview With 2017 Global Good Fund Fellow Lily Yeh

Q:  What inspired you to start your social enterprise?

A:  My two children. I knew that I wanted to not only teach them the importance of kindness, but do what I could to make the world more empathetic and giving.

Q:  What was the most important lesson you learned as a child?

A:  Both my parents were immigrants who worked very long hours and at grueling jobs. It really taught me to value everything we had and the importance of working for what you want.

Q:  If you could take a #selfie with anyone who would it be?

A:  Peyton Manning.

Q:  What's your theme song?

A:  "I'll Be There" by Jackson Five

Q:  How do you want to be remembered?

A:  I want to be remembered as a kind and caring person who put others before myself.
