Gene Gurkoff is the the creator of the app Charity Miles, which makes it easy to sponsor athletes who run, walk, or bike for charity. When these activities are logged and shared through social media, corporate sponsors make donations to charities based on the distance trekked. The concept was developed based on his own efforts to run marathons for Parkinson’s research in honor of his grandfather. Mr. Gurkoff is the winner of the 2013 SXSW Dewey Wilburne Interactive Award. As the Fellow’s real first line of contact, the Executive Coach helps to interpret & internalize their 360 Mirror Leadership Development Assessment results, and use that feedback as a key component of building his/her Leadership Development Plan ("LDP"). This process occurs over a series of seven conversations between January-May.
