HALLE ABRAHAM

Halle Abraham is a Marketing and Content Development Intern at The Global Good Fund. She is a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania planning to study international relations and economic policy. Halle worked as an intern at The Global Good Fund in the summer of 2014 and enjoyed interviewing potential fellows and conducting database management, among other responsibilities.

At the University of Pennsylvania, Halle writes a column on African politics and economics in The Consul – the university’s student run international affairs publication. Halle recently received the Onyx Activism Award for her column. She is also on the Corporate Committee and External Relations Committee of the Black Wharton Undergraduate Association. Recently, Halle has worked under the direction of the World Bank and the Wharton School to implement micro-insurance on remittances for migrant workers with a small team of six people (as well as corporate sponsors). Additionally, Halle is External Liaison for the Penn African Students Association.

In her free time, Halle loves to dance and practice yoga. This summer, she will also be working with the National League of Women Voters on advocacy surrounding campaign finance reform.

ANNE PAGE

Anne Page is a Special Projects Manager for The Global Good Fund. She is a rising 4th year student at the University of Virginia and will graduate with a degree in economics in the spring of 2017. She has a passion for horses and competes in three day eventing at a high level for the UVA eventing team as well as individually.  Annie has worked for professional eventers helping them train their clients’ horses while also training her own horse.

Besides horseback riding, Anne is an avid skier and loves being outdoors. After a semester abroad in Dublin, Ireland, she aspires to live and work in Ireland at some point in the near future.
