About the course

The Fundraising for Social Impact program is a flexible and interactive learning experience created to guide aspiring fundraisers through the process of cultivating donors, creating a fundraising plan, and delivering an effective fundraising pitch. Throughout the course, you’ll have the opportunity to receive personalized feedback from our team, helping to guide your progress through the seven learning modules.

Learn how to:

  • Cultivate and engage your network to raise money for your organization or personal cause
  • Recognize your areas of strength and growth as a fundraiser
  • Confidently apply strategies for effective storytelling and active listening
  • Host fundraising pitch meetings with donors to help you meet your fundraising goals

Who should take this course?

Fundraising isn’t easy. It can be daunting to reach out to people in your community or network to ask for donations. Yet there is a proven approach to raising funds, that is if you focus on building meaningful relationships with people who care about the same issues.

This course is for you if you have had limited experience raising large sums of money from individuals and family offices and are eager to make a difference through either your organization or personal engagement. It also could be for you if you have more experience but are looking for a refresher. Participants include:

  • Individuals raising money for causes that are personal to them;
  • Nonprofit and social impact professionals stepping into a fundraising-focused role beyond proposal writing;
  • New board members or volunteers who are tasked with raising funds; and
  • Members of advocacy organizations looking to raise dollars for a worthy cause.

Participants will receive a certificate of completion when concluding the course.
