Manolo is responsible for leading and overseeing the operations of The Global Good Fund’s ecosystem, comprising the Nonprofit, Consulting Business, and Impact Fund. In this role, he is accountable for driving better integration and alignment among the various business lines and departments. Manolo works closely with department heads to support the day-to-day operations of The Global Good Fund ecosystem and the implementation of its strategy and vision. With over 18 years of professional experience in the financial, consulting, and social enterprise sectors, Manolo brings valuable expertise to GGF. Additionally, he has a background as a teacher and speaker in academic and business environments—experiences he considers as the spark that ignited his passion for leadership development and social impact. Manolo holds an undergraduate degree and a master’s in Economics Science, and he also has experience as an entrepreneur. Manolo is dedicated to leading The Global Good Fund and overseeing its operations, driven by his commitment to advancing leadership development and social impact.
Larissa is the driving force behind The Global Good Fund’s consulting programs, ensuring seamless operations and that our clients are equipped with everything they need to actively engage and thrive within our leadership development initiatives. With a background in community development, facilitation, and social innovation, Larissa brings a global mindset, empathy, and human skills to identify and solve needs. Holding a Bachelor’s in International Relations and a certificate in Social Innovation Management, she spent five impactful years in a Rio de Janeiro-based non-profit before founding her organization. In 2021, Larissa relocated to the United States to pursue a Master’s in Public Policy and International Development at Duke University, showcasing her commitment to making a broader impact on global social issues. Her blend of academic insights, practical experience, and vision for positive change make her an invaluable asset to our team.
Nazlin Bhimji is The Global Good Fund’s Senior Director of Strategic Development. In this role, she is responsible for building and scaling the organization’s institutional funding strategy. Nazlin brings to The Global Good Fund extensive global experience working with non-profit organizations, businesses and international organizations on business development, organizational strategy, program development, CSR and sustainability. Nazlin has an Executive MBA from George Washington University, an MA in International Development from American University, a BA in International Studies and French from Ohio Wesleyan University and is a Certified Sustainability Practitioner. She currently serves as a Mentor-in-Residence at George Washington University, Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Jackie elevates The Global Good Fund brand through email marketing, social media, design, and other communications strategies. She brings to GGF more than ten years of professional experience in the financial, retail, and social enterprise sectors. Her passion for storytelling began at Hautelook, an online fashion retailer acquired by Nordstrom in 2013. She then Jackie worked as the Head of Merchandising for social enterprise Fashion Project, supporting their mission to sell clothing to raise money for charity. Jackie’s background is both analytical and creative; she earned her undergraduate degree in Finance and Graphic Design from Lehigh University.
Michelle is a highly motivated, insightful, and solutions-oriented executive with a distinguished 20-year career in business development, fundraising, and operational strategies. As the Development Director at the Global Good Fund, she leverages her expertise in people management, team building, and relationship management. Michelle excels in analyzing situations and creating effective processes to address organizational needs. Her strengths include leading cross-functional teams in developing donor-facing projects and proposals/grants. With a focus on stakeholder engagement, she is adept at building and maintaining internal and external relationships. Michelle’s passion for positive social impact aligns seamlessly with her role, contributing to the Global Good Fund’s mission of empowering emerging leaders and fostering global community development.
Sandra works at the heart of The Global Good Fund, managing, supporting, and curating experiences for the fellowship program. She brings to GGF experience managing multiple stakeholders, experience working with people from various backgrounds, a deep interest in leadership development and social entrepreneurship. She has worked in various philanthropic settings supporting leaders, board members, and other external stakeholders while upholding the mission of the organizations she served. At GGF, Sandra enjoys working directly with our fellows, connecting them with various resources, and learning more about how she can work to support social entrepreneurs as they continue to create social impact across the globe. Sandra earned her Political science & global studies degree at University of Maryland Baltimore County.
Carolina Villalta is Office Manager at The Global Good Fund, responsible for general duties and overseeing administrative support. She assists in maintaining services by organizing office operations. Carolina joined The Global Good Fund in 2019. She is most proud of her two children, and enjoys spending time with family.
