CEO & Co-Founder


Carrie Rich is the co-founder and CEO of The Global Good Fund. At age 26, Carrie felt privileged to have a mentor who invested in her leadership as a young professional. Together, they took this idea of pairing experienced business executives with emerging young social entrepreneurs to create a worldwide organization. Carrie also serves at the Managing Director of The Global Good Fund's sister company, the Global Impact Fund, a venture capital fund seeking market leading returns by backing social entrepreneurs who are people of color and women. Fundamentally, Carrie’s message is about accessibility, how everyday people can empower themselves and others.  Carrie is the author of three books, including Health Entrepreneurship: A Practical Guide, and two editions of Sustainability for Healthcare Management: A Leadership Imperative, which became a top 5 business book in Handelsblatt (Germany). Carrie is the recipient of The Daily Record’s Most Admired CEO, the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award, and POLITICO Women Who Rule Award.

Manolo Paez

Chief of Staff


Manolo Paez is the Chief Revenue Officer at The Global Good Fund. Manolo is responsible for overseeing all revenue generation processes and defining the revenue strategy at The Global Good Fund. In this role, Manolo is accountable for driving better integration and alignment between all revenue-related functions, including marketing, sales, customer support, pricing, and revenue management. In this role, Manolo also leads one of the organization business units, The Global Good Fund Leadership Services. Through these services, The Global Good Fund provides a platform for leaders across the different management levels to achieve their full potential, while improving the enterprise’s social impact, culture and business. His background is in business development and innovation consulting in the United States and Latin America. He also has experience as a teacher and speaker in academic and business environments, and worked as a consultant for the International Labour Organization (ILO) in the youth employment and entrepreneurship fields. 

Laura Rheintgen

Senior Director of Business Development & Partnerships


Laura provides leadership, management and vision to ensure a coordinated and successful development plan to advance the The Global Good Fund’s mission.  A senior level fundraising executive with more than 20 years of experience working with international and educational nonprofit organizations, Laura holds an M.A. in International Affairs from The American University.   Laura also volunteers her time as a member of the Board of Advisors for the Land Trust of Virginia.  


Senior Director of Strategic Development


Nazlin Bhimji is The Global Good Fund's Senior Director of Strategic Development. In this role, she is responsible for building and scaling the organization's institutional funding strategy.  Nazlin brings to The Global Good Fund extensive global experience working with non-profit organizations, businesses and international organizations on business development, organizational strategy, program development, CSR and sustainability.  Nazlin has an Executive MBA from George Washington University, an MA in International Development from American University, a BA in International Studies and French from Ohio Wesleyan University and is a Certified Sustainability Practitioner. She currently serves as a Mentor-in-Residence at George Washington University, Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. 

Jackie Cohen

Marketing Director


Jackie is responsible for developing and elevating The Global Good Fund brand through email marketing, social media and design. She brings ten years of professional experience in the financial, retail and social enterprise sectors. Her passion for storytelling began at Hautelook, an online fashion retailer acquired by Nordstrom in 2013. Most recently, Jackie worked as the Head of Merchandising for social enterprise Fashion Project, supporting their mission to sell clothing to raise money for charity.

Jackie's background is both analytical and creative; she earned her undergraduate degree in Finance and Graphic Design from Lehigh University.

Danielle Kroo

Director of Operations and Engagement


Danielle Kroo is the Director of Operations and Programs, managing and executing the organization's operations and overseeing the organization's Fellowship program. Danielle comes to The Global Good Fund with extensive experience from within the public policy and non-profit sectors and a background in fundraising, program management, donor relations, politics, and public affairs. Danielle has a MA in Political Science from Lehigh University and a BA in International Relations from Michigan State University. 

Allie Johnston

Director of Development


Allie Johnston is the Director of Development for The Global Good Fund. Allie's writing skills, follow through, graphic skills, comfort managing behind-the-scenes logistics, and strategic thinking make Allie an ideal contibutor to Global Good Fund's development team. Allie previously worked at PeaceLove Studios, an organization that trains front-line professionals in PeaceLove’s expressive arts curriculum to bring back to their populations and help them create peace of mind. Allie was the CREATORS Coordinator as well as a Certified CREATOR herself, and ran the social media platform for PeaceLove. Allie earned an Independent Concentration BA in Expressive Arts and Mental Health from Brown University. She is a 2015 grad passionate about helping create positive change in the world, following in the footsteps of her late father, Hooks Kelley Johnston III.

Jamie Turow

Marketing Manager


As Communications Manager, Jamie Turow promotes The Global Good Fund’s mission through social media, partnerships, written materials and event execution. Her professional career began after graduating from The University of Arizona in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. After holding various positions in media and entertainment, Jamie yearned to use her creative marketing skills in serving the greater good. She first joined The Global Good Fund team as a volunteer, and quickly became passionate about the social impact space.

Sandra Waithaka

Program Assistant


Sandra Waithaka is Program Assistant for the Global Good Fund’s Programs; she is super excited to be a part of the team. Sandra previously worked at Grantmakers for Effective Organizations a membership based philanthropy organization as an Executive Assistant working on various projects focused on Racial Equity and assisting senior leadership. She is most passionate about women’s rights, climate change making a change in the world. Sandra has a B.A in Political Science and Global Studies from University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Carolina Villalta

Office Manager


Carolina Villalta is Office Manager at The Global Good Fund, responsible for general duties and overseeing administrative support. She assists in maintaining services by organizing office operations. Carolina joined The Global Good Fund in 2019. She is most proud of her two children, and enjoys spending time with family.
