Subhankar Paul
Co-founder and Director | The Unifly Collective

Subhankar Paul is transforming education in India’s under-resourced communities by addressing systemic inequities. As co-founder of The Unifly Collective, he leads efforts to redesign education systems, develop school leadership, and equip students with life skills through sports.

His journey began as a Teach For India Fellow, where he worked closely with children, educators, and families in low-income areas. He has since collaborated with the International Olympic Committee’s Young Leaders Program to create sports-based mentorship opportunities and worked with the Department of Basic Education in Uttar Pradesh to scale leadership programs for educators statewide.

Subhankar also evaluates schools as part of a national School Assessor Network, offering solutions to accelerate improvement. He believes in the power of collective action to unlock potential and create lasting change for students and their communities.

Ratan Devkota
CEO and Founder | Innovative Paila

Ratan Prasad Devkota is tackling educational inequities in Nepal through media and grassroots initiatives. As founder of Innovative Paila and producer/director at Katha Express Media, he combines creative storytelling with advocacy to inspire change.

An alumnus of Teach For Nepal, Ratan has led initiatives like “Teacher Can Make a Difference” and served as Education Impact Coordinator in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City, transforming teaching practices in underserved areas. His media work includes producing educational programs such as “Yugantar” and “Educast” in partnership with Kathmandu University.

Ratan also teaches at Hrit Academy and creates culturally resonant films like “Hirulal: The Soul of Karnali,” highlighting stories from Nepal’s remote regions. His academic background in sociology and mathematics fuels his mission to empower communities through education and media-driven solutions.

Gabriel Marmentini
Co-founder and Executive Director | Brazilian Association of Head and Neck Cancer

Gabriel Marmentini is addressing the critical need for improved care and advocacy for head and neck cancer patients in Brazil. As Co-founder and Executive Director of the Brazilian Association of Head and Neck Cancer (ACBG Brasil), Gabriel drives systemic changes to support patients and improve health policies.

Inspired by his mother’s battle with throat cancer, Gabriel co-founded ACBG Brasil to provide comprehensive advocacy, integration projects, and prevention education. The organization is a beacon of hope, striving to improve patient quality of life while reshaping healthcare policy.

Holding a PhD in Business Administration with a focus on Social Management and Citizenship, Gabriel is dedicated to easing patients’ journeys and championing better cancer care nationwide.

Emmanuel Ochola
Co-founder and COO | Oneday Health

Emmanuel Ochola is transforming healthcare access for Uganda’s remote communities. After losing his brother due to inadequate rural healthcare, Emmanuel co-founded OneDay Health (1DH) in 2017, a social enterprise delivering essential medical services to underserved areas.

Starting with 10 health centers, Emmanuel scaled 1DH to 45 centers across Northern Uganda and beyond, while building a team of over 50 employees. A nurse and health educator, he mentors young nurses and emerging leaders, empowering them to drive change in their communities.

Recognized by the Unleash Plus innovation lab, Queens Commonwealth Trust, and Dovetail Impact Foundation, Emmanuel’s work gained further momentum when 1DH joined the London School of Economics 100x accelerator in 2023. His mission is rooted in a deep commitment to bridging healthcare gaps and improving lives in rural Uganda.

Sonika Manandhar
Founder & CTO | Aloi Global

Sonika Manandhar is driving climate action and sustainable development in Nepal through innovative fintech solutions. As Founder and CTO of Aloi, she empowers farmers and transport entrepreneurs to adopt green technologies by providing digital loans for climate-resilient practices and making electric vehicle ownership more accessible.

A National Geographic Explorer and 2019 UN Young Champion of the Earth, Sonika leverages her 14 years of experience in technology to address global challenges. Aloi’s initiatives bridge financing gaps in sustainability, advancing progress in agriculture and electric mobility.

Recognized by organizations like UNCDF, UNESCAP, and Standard Chartered Ventures, Sonika is a global advocate for sustainable development, sharing her insights at platforms such as the UN General Assembly and National Geographic Storytelling Camps. Her work is transforming communities while fostering a more sustainable future.

Osei Boateng
Founder and Executive Director | OKB Hope Foundation

Osei Boateng is addressing healthcare inequities in Ghana’s remote communities through innovative grassroots solutions. After losing his grandmother and aunt to delays in accessing care, he founded the OKB Hope Foundation, a nonprofit delivering essential physical and mental health services to underserved areas.

Under Osei’s leadership, the foundation has improved healthcare access for thousands, bridging gaps in primary care and combating non-communicable diseases. His work has earned recognition as a 2023 CNN Hero, Young Global Changer, and Changemaker in Africa, along with accolades from the World Health Organization for pioneering healthcare innovations.

Osei envisions a world where timely, quality healthcare is accessible to all, regardless of socioeconomic status. His relentless commitment is transforming lives in Ghana and setting a global example for healthcare equity.

Khine Pwint Nwe
Founder and CEO | Z-waka

Dr. Khine Pwint Nwe is advancing healthcare access and education in low- and middle-income countries through digital innovation. As Founder and CEO of Z-waka, she leads initiatives to empower healthcare providers and deliver patient-centered solutions, impacting underserved communities across Myanmar, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

A medical doctor from Myanmar and a Chevening Scholar with a Master’s in Health Informatics from the University of Leeds, Dr. Khine leverages her expertise to bridge healthcare gaps in Southeast Asia. Recognized in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia (2022), her work focuses on building capacity for healthcare professionals and creating tools that improve care delivery in resource-constrained settings.

Dr. Khine’s visionary leadership is transforming digital health and empowering communities to achieve equitable healthcare access.

Tania Naanous
Founder & Executive Director | Lentes Púrpura

Tania Naanous is combating gender-based violence and promoting gender equality across Latin America. As Founder and Executive Director of Lentes Púrpura, she leads initiatives to address the root causes of violence and discrimination through advocacy, education, and restorative justice.

With over 10 years of experience in gender, peacebuilding, and security, Tania has facilitated over 500 workshops on gender, diversity, and inclusion. She also supports survivors of gender-based violence and works with those who have committed harm to foster accountability and healing.

A graduate of Universidad Iberoamericana with a Master’s in Conflict, Security, and Development from the University of Sussex, where she earned the Lisa Smirl Prize, Tania combines academic excellence with on-the-ground impact. Her work through Lentes Púrpura empowers women and LGBTQ+ individuals to assert their rights and access opportunities free from violence and discrimination.
