The Fundraising for Social Impact program is a flexible and interactive learning experience created to guide aspiring fundraisers through the process of cultivating donors, creating a fundraising plan, and delivering an effective fundraising pitch. Throughout the course, you’ll have the opportunity to receive personalized feedback from our team, helping to guide your progress through the seven learning modules.
Fundraising isn’t easy. It can be daunting to reach out to people in your community or network to ask for donations. Yet there is a proven approach to raising funds, that is if you focus on building meaningful relationships with people who care about the same issues.
This course is for you if you have had limited experience raising large sums of money from individuals and family offices and are eager to make a difference through either your organization or personal engagement. It also could be for you if you have more experience but are looking for a refresher. Participants include:

Carrie Rich is a social impact leader who has raised many millions of dollars in philanthropic funding for both professional and personal causes. She is eager to share her fundraising tools.
Under Carrie’s direction as co-founder and CEO of The Global Good Fund, a non-profit organization that catalyzes social impact, GGF has supported 200+ social entrepreneurs from more than 50 countries, providing them with personalized coaching, mentorship, targeted funding, and leadership development resources to help them expand their organizations’ impact. Carrie is also the CEO of The Global Good Fund Consulting and the Managing Director of The Global Good Fund’s sister company, Global Impact Fund, a venture capital fund that invests in purpose-driven businesses, 80% of which are led by women and people of color.
Carrie also is co-author of the Wall Street Journal and Amazon bestseller, Impact The World: Live Your Values and Drive Changes as a Citizen Statesperson, which was published by Wiley in 2022. She is a mom of three and an avid traveler.
Looking to learn about fundraising at your own pace? This course is ideal for learners who are interested in completing the digital course when it’s most helpful for them. All registrants also can receive asynchronous feedback (via messages) from an experienced fundraising coach. These optional assignments include how to develop your fundraising plan and optimize your personal fundraising style, and you even will have the opportunity to record and submit your pitch via video. A coach will provide customized feedback within 48 hours!
